Lauren Flax has a new project called CREEP with long time friend and co-conspirator, Lauren Dillard. CREEP’s first release “Days” features guest vocals by The xx’s Romy Madley-Croft. It’s a ghostly blend of Romy’s ethereal voice and CREEP’s sinister beats, blending tones of goth, shoegaze and R&B to create darkly prophetic and orchestral soundscapes.
The unforgettable video for Days is directed by Fischerspooner’s Warren Fischer, and before official release has already been nominated for Best Video and Best Cinematography at the prestigious Camerimage Film Festival.
Remixes on the 12” come from Deadboy and Azari & III. Deadboy turns ‘Days’ in to 2-step, dancefloor melancholia with Azari & III turning in a 6 minute Chicago house indebted mix.
CREEP are producers/ DJs Lauren Flax and Lauren Dillard. Lauren Flax is an internationally renowned house DJ and producer.
